Schemes

Post Matric Scholorships

Government have introduced Post Matric Scholarships to encourage a large number of ST students in higher education from Intermediate and Post Matric Graduate courses, Diploma Courses and Professional Courses. Sanctioned Tuition Fee and Mess Fee to ST students studying in various colleges in the respective districts.

Pre Matric Scholorships

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced NTR Vidya Jyothi programme for Tribal Welfare Department to increase students retention and to reduce the dropout rate and to give financial incentive to the poor tribal families whose children are studying 5th to 8th Day Scholars and 9th to 10th classes (Day Scholar and Hostlers ) in all management schools. in the district.

Best Available Schools

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced the Best Available Schools Scheme to provide corporate education under pre matric students in reputed private management schools.

Ambedkar Overseas Viyda Nidhi

With a view to enable the benefit of pursuing education abroad to better their lives and to enable the benefit of higher education in Foreign Universities to meritorious ST students they have providing an opportunity for better career prospects within the country and abroad the Govt. of India introduce .“Ambedkar Overseas Studies Nidhi”.

NTR Vidyonnathi

In order to reduce the gaps in development of STs and to facilitate access to better livelihood and employment opportunities to STs especially educated youth and to ensure students reach the higher echelons of administration and to facilitate their entry in Civil Services and to improve opportunities for better employment, Govt. started NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme.
