Objective
The Panchayat Raj Engineering Department (PRED) is an engineering wing of PR & RD Department. The objective of PRED is to design, execute and maintain needed Infrastructure facilities in rural areas for the economic development of rural people in Andhra Pradesh. PMGSY
Under Phase – IX, 7 Bridge works sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs. 1885.96 Lakhs. 5 works are completed and One work Peddimpeta Bridge are in progress. One work ( Balance work) Rongalivanivalasa is in tender stage. Expenditure incurred so far under Phase-IX is 1261.95 Lakhs.
Under Phase – X, 23 Road works with 75.65 Kms sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs. 4285.29 Lakhs. Out of 23 works 19 works are completed and 2 works in progress. Balance 2 works are to be entrusted. Forest Clearance is required for One work . 48.69 Kms length completed and expenditure incurred so far is Rs. 3009.61 Lakhs.
Under PMGSY-II , 12 Road works with 82.54 Kms sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs. 4613.50 Lakhs and 12 works completed and 82.54 Kms length of road was completed. Expenditure incurred so far is Rs.3778.54 Lakhs.
NABARD
Under RIDF XVI Phase-II: Revised administrative sanction was accorded by the Govt. for Rs. 998.00 Lakhs on 23.01.2015 for the work Construction of Bridge across Nagavali river between Poornapadu and Labesu Villages in Komarada Mandal and the work is in progress. Expenditure incurred so far is 659.08 Lakhs.
Under RIDF XXI : Under this trench, 10 road works and One bridge work were sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs. 1523.00 Lakhs. Out of 10 works , 9 works completed and one work is in progress. Expenditure incurred so far is Rs. 883.90 Lakhs.
Under RIDF XXIV : Under this trench, 04 road works are sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.709.60 Lakhs. 3 Works are in progress and for one work tenders to be invited in 4th call.
APDRP (ANDHRA PRADESH DISASTER RECOVERY PROJECT):
Under this programme 25 road works of length 126.06 Kms were sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs. 5795.00 Lakhs and 14 works completed and 11 works are in progress and Expenditure incurred so far is Rs. 2153.63 Lakhs.
EAP PROGRAMME:
Under EAP Programme, 156 road works are sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs. 24659.09 Lakhs. Agreements finalised for 96 work and the balance works are in tender stage.
MGNREGS PROGRAMME:
Under MGNREGS Programme the below are proposed during the year 2019-20.
- 384 Kms length of Internal CC Roads and 37.60Kms of CC approach roads to Un-Connected Habitations
- 60.00Km length of BT Roads
- 406 Nos of Anganwadi Centre Buildings
- 97 Nos of Gram Panchayat Buildings
- 34 Nos of Village Haats
